MAM Ambassador stakeholders

The following stakeholders at Mazars in South Africa have been identified with reference to the MAM Ambassador project:
  • Audit service line as a whole (audit partners, managers, supervisors, seniors etc.);
  • Audit service line leaders (Yolandie Ferreira & Rochelle Murugan);
  • The Quality and Risk Management department (QRM);
  • The Quality Officers Support Unit (QOSU);
  • Mazars Academy and assigned team;
  • Human Resources Department

Why the need for a MAM Ambassador?

Based on common matters and consultations dealt with by the QRM Team, a need has been identified within the business to train identified audit staff, particularly senior managers and managers, to be MAM Ambassadors within Mazars South Africa.

The purpose of the MAM Ambassador would be to support audit staff with technical questions that could be addressed if there was a better understanding of the MAM and related application guidance. This would result in QRM dealing with all high-level and risk-related consultations/matters.

Each office should have at least one MAM Ambassador and these individuals will be the link between QRM, the Quality Officers, and the audit department.

Support from QRM

QRM will offer continuous training and support to the MAM Ambassadors and facilitate regular technical calls to discuss any topical issues identified in the respective offices.
The MAM Ambassadors will also be encouraged to attend webinars held by Mazars Group, especially the webinars relating to MAM Pack updates.
